OTTCO appoints Ali Al Shihhi as Chief Financial Officer

Al Shihhi will oversee OTTCO’s financial leadership as the company continues to operate across Oman’s energy storage and logistics sector.
Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) has appointed Ali Al Shihhi as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately, as the energy logistics and storage company strengthens its finance leadership.
Al Shihhi announced the appointment on LinkedIn, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Financial Officer at OTTCO!”
He joined OTTCO in August 2025 as Vice President – Finance, bringing more than two decades of experience across finance leadership, governance, investment strategy and business transformation.
Before joining OTTCO, Al Shihhi spent more than four years with Nitaj and subsequently Oman Food Capital following the merger between Nitaj and FDO. During this period, he led finance operations for the diversified food investment holding company, with responsibilities spanning treasury, budgeting, reporting, consolidation and financial restructuring across multiple subsidiaries.
He also gained experience in investment strategy, governance frameworks and turnaround planning for complex businesses.
At the time of joining OTTCO, Al Shihhi said the role provided an opportunity to apply his experience to the energy logistics and storage sector and contribute to the company’s strategic growth and Oman’s ambitions in the global energy market.
Al Shihhi holds a Master of Science in Investment and Finance from Strathclyde Business School, and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University.
In his new role, Al Shihhi will oversee OTTCO’s financial leadership as the company continues to operate across Oman’s energy storage and logistics sector.
