Al-Fagham will succeed Faisal Al-Omran, who has led Saudi Investment Bank since February 2019 and is stepping down after more than 20 years with the bank.

Saudi Investment Bank has appointed Salman bin Bader Al-Fagham as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026, following the Saudi Central Bank’s non-objection.

The appointment comes after the bank’s board accepted the resignation of Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Omran as CEO at his request. Al-Omran’s resignation took effect on September 30, 2026, after more than 20 years with the bank.

The board thanked Al-Omran for his contributions and dedicated service during his tenure and wished him continued success.

Al-Fagham brings more than 20 years of banking and leadership experience in Saudi Arabia. He has worked at the Saudi Central Bank and held several senior positions at Saudi Investment Bank across treasury, investment, liquidity management, financing, capital and balance-sheet management.

Before his appointment as CEO, Al-Fagham served as deputy CEO at Saudi Investment Bank. His previous roles also include treasurer and chief investment officer, head of treasury investments and investment analyst at the Saudi Central Bank.

Al-Fagham holds a master’s degree in investment management from Cass Business School in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Greenwich. He has also completed executive and professional programmes at institutions including London Business School, Stanford University, INSEAD, Harvard Business School and the Wharton School.
