
SECIC appoints Kinana Al Sharif as Managing Director
Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company, a leading health insurance provider, has appointed Kinana Al Sharif as the new Managing Director, effective immediately.
Announcing the news, the company stated: “Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company announces the appointment of Board Member Mr. Kinana Al Sharif as Managing Director of the company, following the Insurance Authority’s non-objection to the appointment.”
Kinana also shared: “I am happy to announce that I have been appointed as the Managing Director of Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company. In addition to this role, I have been appointed as a member of the Investment Committee, while continuing to serve on the Risk Committee.”
Kinana brings over three decades of leadership experience across key industries including finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. He has served as a key member of the company’s Audit & Risk Committee since 2019.
Prior to this appointment, he served as CEO of Trio Professional Development in Saudi Arabia for over 15 years. His previous roles also include CEO at Arrowad Arabia, Deputy CEO at Al-Watan Newspaper, Executive Vice President at A.K. Saeed Group, CFO at Al Salam International Hospital, and Financial Controller at National Commercial Bank.

The company further noted: “The Board’s approval is not final. This appointment, along with Mr. Kinana’s appointment as a Board Member, will be presented to the next General Assembly meeting for final approval.”
This appointment marks the second leadership change at SECIC in recent months. Most recently, Nasr Aldin Baba was appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer following the resignation of CEO Sultan Abdulrauf in December 2024.
