Tadweer Group appoints Etienne Petit as CEO

Tadweer Group, Abu Dhabi’s leading waste management and recycling solutions company, has appointed Etienne Petit as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Announcing the appointment, the company said: “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Etienne Petit as Chief Executive Officer of Tadweer Group. Etienne brings extensive international leadership experience across the waste management and environmental services sector, with a strong track record in operational excellence, organisational transformation, and the delivery of large-scale, sustainable infrastructure solutions.”

Commenting on his appointment, Petit said: “I’m pleased to share that I’ve joined Tadweer Group, Abu Dhabi’s leading waste management company and a key driver of sustainability in the UAE, as Chief Executive Officer.

Petit brings more than three decades of leadership experience across the manufacturing, environmental services, and financial management sectors. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Chargeurs Advanced Materials, where he led global operations and strategic growth initiatives. 

Earlier in his career, Petit spent over 26 years at Veolia, holding several senior leadership roles across regions and business lines, after beginning his career at Ciments Français. 

His appointment comes as Tadweer Group continues to advance its role in driving circular economy initiatives, operational excellence, and sustainable infrastructure development in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
