Tawuniya appoints Mohammed Al Neaim as Chief Shared Services Officer

Saudi Arabia-based cooperative insurer Tawuniya has appointed Mohammed Al Neaim as its Chief Shared Services Officer, effective immediately, strengthening its leadership team as it advances enterprise-wide transformation aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.

Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, Al Neaim said he was honoured to take on the new role and thanked the company's Board, CEO and colleagues for their trust and support.

"Our mandate ahead is clear. We are building shared services to operate as a strategic enablement platform for the enterprise," he wrote. "The intent is a stronger core business, disciplined scale across the group, and a service platform worthy of a company of Tawuniya's standing."

He added that the ambition is closely linked to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and said he looks forward to working with the team to strengthen the organisation's shared services capabilities.

In his new position, Al Neaim will oversee the group's shared services platform, with responsibility spanning people, procurement, customer, brand, performance and corporate services. The role also includes connecting Tawuniya's corporate centre with its subsidiaries to support enterprise-wide operational excellence.

Al Neaim joined Tawuniya in May 2024 as Chief of Staff, where he worked closely with the CEO on strategic planning, organisational alignment, operational excellence and business transformation initiatives. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of Planning & Quality at Tawuniya between 2022 and 2023.

Before returning to the insurer, he held several leadership positions at a confidential national healthcare organisation, including Affairs Director of Administration & Finance, Quality & Development Advisor to the Chairman of the Board, Board Secretary, and Deputy Director of Quality & Patient Safety.

With more than two decades of experience across human resources, operational excellence, quality management and strategic planning, Al Neaim has built his career across the insurance and healthcare sectors. He holds a master's degree in Health Systems and Quality Management from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from King Saud University.
