BENEFIT CFO Layla Al Qassab exits after serving on executive leadership team

No successor has been appointed to take over the chief financial officer role as of now, according to the company statement.

Bahrain-based fintech company BENEFIT has announced the departure of Chief Financial Officer Layla Al Qassab, marking the end of her tenure with the organisation on 13 August 2026.


Al Qassab served as a member of BENEFIT's executive management team, where she led the company's finance function and contributed to strengthening financial operations and supporting the organisation's strategic objectives.


In a statement, BENEFIT Chief Executive Abdulwahed AlJanahi acknowledged Al Qassab's contributions to the company, highlighting her role in advancing the finance department and enhancing operational efficiency.


"We extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs. Layla Al Qassab for her dedication and valuable contributions throughout her tenure at BENEFIT. Her expertise has contributed significantly to advancing the financial department and improving its operational effectiveness," AlJanahi said.


He also thanked her for her collaborative approach and wished her success in the next phase of her career.


Reflecting on her departure, Al Qassab said she was proud of the progress achieved during her time at the company and expressed gratitude to the organisation's leadership and employees.


"I am proud of what we have accomplished during my tenure at BENEFIT and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a talented and experienced team," she said.


She added that contributing to a company that plays a key role in Bahrain's fintech and electronic financial transactions sector had been a privilege.


BENEFIT did not announce a successor to the chief financial officer role.
