Haleon announces restructuring, creates Chief Growth and Chief Transformation roles

Haleon is restructuring its operations under the “Win as One” strategy to boost growth, productivity, and culture, with changes set to take effect by mid-2026.
Global consumer healthcare company - Haleon has unveiled a major restructuring and leadership revamp as part of its ongoing “Win as One” strategy, aimed at driving growth, efficiency, and agility across its global operations.
The changes that were first outlined at the company’s Capital Markets Day in May 2025 are expected to be implemented by mid-2026.
A key part of this transformation is the creation of two new executive roles i.e. Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and Chief Transformation Officer (CTO).
The CGO will oversee Haleon’s Category, Marketing, and Strategy functions, as well as a new global Commercial Excellence team, driving growth and innovation in collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, and regional business units.
The CTO will lead large-scale business and technology transformations, ensuring streamlined processes and a more agile operating model. Both roles, alongside the Presidents of Haleon’s Operating Units (OUs), will report directly to CEO Brian McNamara and join the company’s Executive Committee.
Haleon is also restructuring its global footprint into six Operating Units to capitalise on growth opportunities.
The current EMEA & LatAm region will split into Latin America, Middle East & Africa, and Europe. The India Subcontinent will become a standalone OU, reflecting its strong performance, while North America remains unchanged. Asia-Pacific continues as a separate unit.
“In May 2025, we introduced our Win as One strategy, which is how we will unlock Haleon’s full potential,” McNamara said. “These changes are critical to making the company simpler, faster, and more efficient while strengthening our ability to drive sustainable growth.”
Haleon will provide additional details in its Preliminary Full Year Results on 25 February 2026 and will consult with employee representatives as appropriate.
