The partners also plan to exchange regional and international best practices and promote successful workplace inclusion models across the wider business community.

NAMA Women Advancement has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BEEAH Group to strengthen women's inclusion and gender equity across the company's workforce, adopting NAMA's flagship Irtiqa initiative as the framework for workplace inclusion throughout BEEAH Group's operations.

The agreement will introduce specialised workshops, leadership advisory services, diagnostic assessments and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at embedding inclusive workplace practices and supporting women's professional development across the organisation.

Signed by Mariam Al Hammadi, Director General of NAMA Women Advancement, and Fahad Ali Shehail, CEO of Environment at BEEAH Group, the partnership seeks to translate commitments to gender equality into measurable organisational outcomes through structured assessments and action plans.

"Women's presence in the workplace is no longer measured solely by representation, but by their ability to access opportunities, participate in decision-making, and thrive within institutional systems that actively support their professional development," Al Hammadi said.

She added that Irtiqa provides organisations with practical tools to assess workplace practices, identify improvement opportunities and implement data-driven action plans that enhance both organisational performance and workplace culture.

Al Shehail said the partnership marks a strategic step in strengthening BEEAH Group's diversity and inclusion efforts, particularly in industries such as environmental services, waste management and sustainability, where workforces have traditionally been male dominated.

"Our partnership with NAMA gives us the structure to keep raising that standard and to apply it with the same rigor we bring to every other part of our operations," he said, adding that the Irtiqa framework will become the company's standard for advancing women's empowerment as it expands into new regional markets.

As part of the collaboration, BEEAH Group will implement the Irtiqa Toolkit, which evaluates organisations across five pillars—People, Purpose, Policies, Products and Services, and Partnerships—to assess current practices and identify areas for improvement.

The initiative will begin with a diagnostic assessment to identify institutional gaps, followed by recommendations and an implementation roadmap developed in collaboration with company leadership, human resources teams and other stakeholders.

The partners also plan to exchange regional and international best practices and promote successful workplace inclusion models across the wider business community as part of broader efforts to advance gender equity in the UAE's private sector.
