Darwinbox, Neeyamo join forces to simplify global payroll for multinational employers

Darwinbox and Neeyamo have announced a strategic partnership aimed at bringing HR and payroll closer together through an integrated platform designed for multinational organisations operating across multiple countries.
As businesses expand into new markets, managing people has become easier than managing payroll. HR platforms can scale globally, but payroll often remains fragmented across multiple local vendors, creating operational complexity for multinational employers.
Darwinbox and Neeyamo believe they have a solution.
The two HR technology companies have announced a strategic partnership to integrate Darwinbox's AI-powered human capital management platform with Neeyamo's global payroll technology. According to the companies, the collaboration is designed to provide organisations with a unified framework for managing HR and payroll across international operations.
Closing the gap between HR and payroll
The partnership addresses a long-standing challenge facing multinational employers.
According to Neeyamo, organisations expanding across borders frequently rely on global HR systems while continuing to manage payroll through multiple country-specific providers.
The integration between Neeyamo Payroll and Darwinbox aims to connect the two functions through a single framework intended to improve:
- Payroll accuracy
- Regulatory compliance
- Operational efficiency
- Cross-border workforce management
- Data consistency
The companies said the integrated approach is designed to reduce fragmentation while providing enterprises with greater visibility across their global workforce.
How the integration works
At the centre of the partnership is a bidirectional integration between the two platforms.
According to the announcement, Neeyamo Payroll will securely receive employee demographic, employment and compensation data from Darwinbox, which serves as the primary source for workforce information.
Following payroll processing, Neeyamo will send payroll outputs back into Darwinbox, including:
- Payslips
- Tax documents
- Payroll registers
- Compliance reports
- Other payroll records
Employees and payroll administrators will be able to access these documents directly within the Darwinbox platform.
According to the companies, the two-way exchange is intended to reduce manual reconciliation, improve data continuity and simplify global payroll administration.
Executives outline the partnership's focus
Rangarajan Seshadri, Chief Executive Officer of Neeyamo, said the partnership combines the strengths of both organisations.
"Our partnership with Darwinbox brings together complementary strengths to deliver a more integrated and resilient HR-payroll ecosystem."
He added the collaboration is intended to help multinational organisations operate with greater control and consistency across global markets.
For Darwinbox, the partnership is focused on extending payroll capabilities without compromising a unified HR experience.
Chaitanya Peddi, Co-founder and Head of Product at Darwinbox, said organisations managing international workforces should not have to choose between local payroll expertise and a consistent global HR platform.
According to Peddi, the integration enables organisations to extend payroll support across more than 160 countries while maintaining a single employee record, common workflows and visibility across their workforce.
Built for organisations operating across borders
The partnership targets employers managing increasingly complex international operations. According to the companies:
- Darwinbox serves more than 4 million employees across 1,200+ enterprises in 130 countries.
- Neeyamo provides payroll capabilities across more than 160 countries.
- The integration supports organisations expanding across markets including the United States, Europe and Latin America.
The companies said organisations will be able to expand into new geographies without relying on fragmented payroll providers in every market.
Instead, they will have access to a connected HR and payroll ecosystem designed to support global growth.
AI and automation remain central to HR technology
The announcement also reflects a broader trend across enterprise software, where HR platforms are increasingly combining AI, automation and integrated workflows to reduce manual processes.
According to the companies, Darwinbox's AI-powered HR platform and Neeyamo's payroll infrastructure will enable organisations to automate data flows throughout the employee lifecycle while improving governance and reducing operational complexity.
The collaboration is intended to create a more connected operating model for organisations managing large, distributed workforces.
