Monroe Capital appoints Waleed Noor as Managing Director and Head of Middle East

Monroe Capital, a global financial asset management firm, has announced the appointment of Waleed Noor as Managing Director and Head of the Middle East as part of its regional expansion strategy.
As part of this expansion strategy, the asset management firm plans to set up a new office in Abu Dhabi. The newly appointed MD and Head of the Middle East will be based in Abu Dhabi to oversee operations and bolster the company’s market presence in the region.
In his new role, Waleed brings over 15 years of industry experience, having held several leadership roles. Most recently, he worked with Commerzbank AG as the Managing Director and Head of Structured Solutions Sales for the MEA Region. In other roles, he served Crédit Agricole CIB as the Director of Cross-Asset Sales for the MENA region, Goldman Sachs as an Associate for the MENA region, and Banque Saudi Fransi as the Associate Director for the MENA region.
On the academic front, Waleed holds an MA degree in Risk Management (Hons.) from Nottingham University Business School and a BA degree in Finance (Hons.) from Durham University. His core competencies include structured solutions, franchise development, capital markets, cross assets sales, strategic partnerships, talent development and team building, and executive leadership.
