Signify’s Head of HR Reem Algasim steps down

AlGhasim joined Signify KSA in March last year, where she led the people agenda, managed the HR team, and championed EVP and cultural transformation.
Reem AlGhasim, who has been serving as the Head of Human Resources at Signify Saudi Arabia, has announced her resignation from the position, effective immediately.
AlGhasim joined Signify in March 2024, bringing over 15 years of HR leadership experience. She has been responsible for directing the end-to-end people agenda across the country as part of the leadership team, managing the HR function, and serving as a Regional Behavior Champion, driving the new EVP and transformation culture as a behavior advocate across the region.
Announcing her resignation, she wrote, “Gratitude for the Journey. After 1.5 years with Signify, it’s time for me to close this chapter and begin a new one. To the colleagues who trusted, challenged, and inspired me every day. To the teams who showed resilience, creativity, and belief, even in uncertain times. I’m grateful for every conversation, collaboration, and milestone shared with you all. This experience will always remain a meaningful part of my leadership journey.”
Without revealing her next role, she added, “As I step forward into new horizons, I carry with me the lessons and relationships from this chapter and the belief that our paths will cross again.”
AlGhasim has previously held key roles at Schneider Electric, Airbus, Renault, OVH Cloud, Bedard Resources, and Pride Canada.

On the academic front, Reem holds an MSc in International Human Resource Management & Organizational Development from Grenoble School of Management, an MSc in Management (DESMA Grande École Program) from Grenoble School of Management, and a bachelor's degree in Public Management and Human Resources from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
She also qualified an Executive Leadership program in Digital Transformation at INSEAD. Her core competencies include design thinking, human-centric approaches, workforce planning, labour and employment law, personnel management, strategic HR, human capital management, talent management and retention, recruitment, and employee relations.
