KFH–Bahrain appoints Misam Al Hashemi as Head of Organisational Design and Workforce Planning

Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has appointed Misam Al Hashemi as Head of Organisational Design and Workforce Planning and Fatema Abu Alfath as Head of Branches and Premium Services, reinforcing its focus on strengthening leadership capabilities and advancing its sustainable growth strategy.



The bank said the appointments reflect its continued commitment to attracting and supporting experienced national talent while enhancing its leadership framework to meet evolving business requirements.


The move forms part of KFH-Bahrain’s broader efforts to develop its organisational structure and improve operational efficiency by bringing in banking leaders with specialised expertise and proven impact. The initiative is aimed at supporting the bank’s strategic objectives, elevating customer experience and strengthening workforce readiness amid ongoing changes in the banking sector.


Al Hashemi brings around two decades of experience in human resources and strategic workforce planning. In her new role, she will lead the development and implementation of the bank’s organisational design and workforce planning framework, with a focus on aligning structure, future skills and overall business strategy.


Abu Alfath, who has more than 20 years of banking experience, will oversee the day-to-day management of KFH-Bahrain’s branch network, service and distribution channels, as well as premium banking services.


The bank noted that the appointments underscore its commitment to empowering Bahraini women and increasing their representation in decision-making roles. KFH-Bahrain said this approach aligns with its vision of providing equal opportunities and investing in qualified national talent to build a diverse leadership ecosystem that supports sustainable growth.


Commenting on the appointments, Dana Bukhammas, Group Head of Human Resources, Transformation and Development at KFH-Bahrain, said the move reflects the bank’s ongoing focus on building a leadership ecosystem capable of supporting its strategy and future ambitions.


“At KFH-Bahrain, we place particular emphasis on empowering Bahraini women and supporting them to assume influential leadership roles,” she said, adding that appointing female leaders to key positions demonstrates the bank’s commitment to diversity and an inclusive, merit-based work environment.
