GHC appoints Amin Halawani as Director & Head of HR
Global Healthcare Company, a leading retailer in Beauty & Healthcare, has announced the appointment of Amin Halawani as Director and Head of Human Resources, effective immediately.
In his new role, Amin brings a wealth of HR leadership experience across various sectors in the Middle East, including retail, telecommunications, and food & beverages. He most recently served Aster Pharmacy as the Manager and Head of HR for the KSA region. In his previous roles, he worked with Seera Group as the Manager of HR Strategy & HR Business Partner, stc as HR Business Partner Specialist, and Al Safi Danone as the Regional HR Business Partner. He also worked with the leading transportation company, Binzagr Co., at the beginning of his career.
On the academic front, Amin holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from the Williams College of Business at Xavier University. He also holds several certifications in Innovation and Strategy and Business Planning from The KPI Institute. His core competencies include employer branding, talent acquisition, strategic HR, learning and development, total rewards, performance management, employee engagement, and HR transformation.

Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Amin posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director - Head of Human Resources at Global Healthcare Co.!”
He also shared his departure news with his network, stating, “After a year and two months, I bid farewell to my amazing colleagues and the wonderful company Aster Pharmacy | Saudi Arabia. At Aster Arabia, the expansion arm for Aster DM Healthcare, I had the honor of working side by side with success partners, colleagues, and leaders to drive key changes in the company, and I led and enabled strategic projects pertaining to building workforce capabilities, teams, and the human capital strategy of the JV with AAHC to expand Aster Pharmacy in KSA.”
