Mohamad Kheir joins UCC Holding as the CHRO
UCC Holding, a leading licensed building and contracting company in the GCC’s infrastructure industry, has appointed Mohamad Kheir as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective immediately.
Kheir announced his new role on LinkedIn, stating, “I am thrilled to announce my appointment at UCC Holding as the Chief Human Resources Officer. I look forward to leading our HR initiatives and driving impactful change in this new role. Here’s to new challenges and continued growth!”
In his new position, Kheir brings nearly two decades of HR leadership experience. Most recently, he served as the Associate Director of HR, People, and Organisation at PwC Middle East. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Qatar HR Leaders Club for SAP SuccessFactors, driving meaningful transformations and fostering innovation, collaboration, and leadership within the HR community.
In his previous roles, Kheir worked at Power International Holding as the Group Human Resources Director for nearly five years, where he oversaw regional employee relations, government affairs, payroll, talent management, compensation & benefits, talent development, and led HR transformation and culture change. He also held positions as HR Director at Baladna Qatar, Group HR Manager at Power International Holding, HR Specialist at SOMAK, and Labour Relations Group at Saudi Binladin Group.

On the academic front, Kheir holds an MSc in MIS and a BSc in MIS from the University of Balamand, as well as a CIPD HR Management Diploma from Qatar University, and a Diploma in HR Management from CIPD Qualifications. He also holds several certifications in strategic HR, executive coaching, DEI, leadership development, AI and Cognitive Tech for Leaders, ethics-based culture, skills-first talent management, digital transformation, employee experience, the future of work, and blockchain in HR.
