The HR landscape is shifting. Today, HR leaders are not only culture builders but also business strategists. They are driving the critical conversations organisations need to navigate transformation, whether in technology, workforce, or leadership.
Their role is nothing short of that of warriors, standing firm through uncertain challenges.
Here are the HR leaders from August who have stepped into key roles to guide dynamic organizations across the Middle East.
Hathal Al-Bahli
Saudi Aramco and Cognite’s joint venture – CNTXT welcomed Hathal Al-Bahli as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.
Bringing more than 20 years of HR leadership experience in the oil and gas sector, Al-Bahli began his career at Saudi Aramco in 2002 as an HR Advisor. Since then, he has held senior HR roles across the group’s subsidiaries and affiliates.
Most recently, he served as an HR Consultant for over seven years and also held HR Director positions at Mukamalah (Aloula Aviation) and ARO Drilling.
Mohamed Al Ameeri
National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) welcomed Mohamed Al Ameeri as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Announcing the move, the bank said the appointment reflects its commitment to nurturing Emirati leadership and strengthening its people-first strategy.
Al Ameeri steps into the role with over two decades of experience in human capital management, organizational transformation, talent development, and Emiratisation. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of HR and has also held leadership positions with Miral Experiences, Al Futtaim, Commercial Bank International, FGB (now First Abu Dhabi Bank), and Standard Chartered.
Marwa Hamza
Egypt’s Raya Holding for Financial Investments welcomed Marwa Hamza as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Hamza brings nearly three decades of HR leadership experience, with deep expertise in organizational transformation, rewards, and capability development. Widely recognized in the industry as a “rewards guru,” she has designed innovative compensation programs that boost performance and support talent retention.
She spent the last 19 years with Vodafone Egypt, most recently as Head of Reward and Policy for over 11 years, where she led compensation strategy for more than 9,000 employees while fostering both internal equity and external competitiveness. Earlier at Vodafone, she also served as HR Business Partner for Technology and Support Functions, aligning people solutions to business needs and driving employee engagement. At the start of her career, Hamza held HR roles with Allianz and Mercedes-Benz.
Ghada Othman Alrumayan
ROSHN Group elevated Ghada Othman Alrumayan as its new Chief Shared Services Officer,
Alrumayan, who joined the group four years ago as Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, now passes the baton to Eng. Waseem Al Khashan, her successor in that role.
Throughout her career, Alrumayan has held senior leadership roles across diverse sectors. She previously served as Senior VP of Communications & PR at Riyad Bank, Head of Strategic Partnerships and Supply Chain, Corporate Communications at Olayan Group, and Marketing Manager at Kempinski Hotels. She also held key roles at Saudi Hollandi Bank and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center.
Siwar Zein
Microsoft elevated Siwar Zein to International Talent Management Director for EMEA, APAC, Japan, and Greater China.
Based in the UAE, Zein brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience. She joined Microsoft in 2019 as HR Director and has since taken on several senior roles, including MEA Talent Director, Area HQ HR Leader, and most recently, EMEA Talent Management Director.
Reflecting on her journey, she highlighted key milestones achieved in EMEA: building strong leadership capability, developing and promoting exceptional talent, and attracting top-tier leaders to drive the organization’s future. She added that she is energized to explore the Asian context, noting its vast population, growing influence, and immense talent potential.
Prior to Microsoft, Zein spent nearly eight years with Nestlé in Dubai as Head of Talent & Development. She also held roles with Barclays and has worked as a Life Coach.

Bandar Aldaham
Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has appointed Bandar Aldaham as Vice President of HR Center of Excellence.
With nearly 15 years of HR leadership experience across the banking and utilities sectors, Aldaham most recently served at Alinma as Acting Head of Talent Acquisition and Head of OD & Workforce Planning, a role he held for more than five years.
Earlier in his career, he spent around nine years with the Saudi Electricity Company, where he held key roles including Senior Manpower Analyst. On the academic front, Aldaham holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from King Saud University.
