ALJ United Finance appoints Thamer Masri as Head of HR

Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance, a leading financial services firm in Saudi Arabia, has appointed Thamer Masri as the Head of Human Resources, effective September 2024.
Thamer brings over 20 years of HR leadership experience to his new role. Before this appointment, he served at Bank AlJazira for over 17 years, holding key positions including Head of Human Capital Systems & Business Analytics and Head of Shared Services. He has also worked with the Islamic Development Bank and Bank AlJazira in previous roles.
Academically, Thamer holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the College of Business Administration at King Saud University (KSU) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Herberger Business School, St. Cloud State University. His core competencies include labour and employment law, succession planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits, strategic HR, performance management, HRIS, and HR processes.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Thamer posted, "I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance!"
