
JAZAD Co. bolsters leadership team, Appoints Feras AlBawardi as MD
Jazan Development and Investment Company (JAZADCo) has announced key leadership appointments effective April 13, 2025. Among the new leaders, Feras AlBawardi has been named Managing Director.
In a statement shared via the Tadawul exchange platform, the company noted: “Following the Ordinary General Assembly meeting held on March 26, 2025 — during which a new Board of Directors was elected for the term beginning April 13, 2025, and ending April 12, 2029 — the Board met on April 12, 2025, to finalise leadership roles and committee assignments.”
Key appointments include:
- Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Jasser appointed as Chairman of the Board
- Feras Khaled AlBawardi appointed as Vice Chairman and Managing Director
In addition, Feras has been appointed Chairman of one of the company’s executive committee, with Mohammed Yahya Alsogour and Jaber Mohammed Alsahli joining him as committee members.
Feras joined JAZADCo in 2022 as Chairman of the Executive Committee and was first named Managing Director in 2023. His re-appointment reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership.
Prior to JAZADCo, he served nearly four years as CEO of Jasara Holding. He is also an active board and committee member for several investment firms including BATIC Investment Company, Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Company, Ghars Investment Co., Arabian Oud, Rakhaa Investment Co., and Tabuk Fisheries Company.
Earlier in his career, Feras held roles with the Council of Economic Development Affairs as a Project Manager, and with the Ministry of Commerce & Investment, working in the Domestic Trade Agency’s PMO. He began his career as an Equity Analyst.

The company also strengthened its Nominations and Remuneration Committee, appointing:
- Sultan Abdullah AlShalash as Committee Chairman
- Jaber Mohammed Alsahli and Basem Mohammed Bahloul as members
