Nada Al-Tamimi named VP of HR, MENA at DHL Express, succeeding Henry Fares

With her wealth of HR leadership experience, Al-Tamimi is set to carry forward Fares’ legacy in the MENA region.
DHL Express has promoted Nada Al-Tamimi to Vice President Human Resources, Middle East & North Africa, effective immediately.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Al-Tamimi wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President Human Resources Middle East & North Africa at DHL Express!”
Al-Tamimi joined DHL Express in 2015 as an HR Officer and has since held key roles including Senior Director of HR and VP of HR – KSA. Prior to joining DHL, she worked with Dar Al Riyadh Group as an HR Assistant. In her new role, she will lead the HR function across the MENA region, driving people-first initiatives and HR transformation.
Al-Tamimi succeeds Henry Fares, who served as VP of HR for DHL Express MENA for nearly 13 years.
Fares is among the few HR leaders to transition into an executive leadership role, having now been appointed Managing Director for DHL Express Qatar. The company noted, “Henry has played an essential role in shaping a workplace culture that supports both organisational performance and employee wellbeing. His visionary leadership has helped establish DHL Express MENA as an employer of choice across the region.”

With her wealth of HR leadership experience, Al-Tamimi is set to carry forward Fares’ legacy in the MENA region. On the academic front, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and certifications in HR management.
