
Thoughtworks appoints Kaushik Sarkar as Regional MD for Europe, Middle East & India
Thoughtworks, a global tech consultancy, has appointed Kaushik Sarkar as the new Regional Managing Director for its Europe, Middle East and India (EMEI), with immediate effect.
In his new role, Kaushik brings over 25 years of industry leadership experience. He will be responsible for spearheading the company’s strategic and sustainable growth in the regions. He will be “accelerating the company’s go-to-market strategy and value delivery within industries like financial services, automotive, healthcare and life sciences, public sector and retail in these regions,” the company stated.
Welcoming Kaushik on the leadership team, Mike Sutcliff, CEO of Thoughtworks said, “The Europe, Middle East and India region features a complex landscape with varied regulatory environments, cultural nuances and diverse digital maturity levels. Prior to this appointment, Kaushik served Collabera Digital as the President. In his previous roles, he worked with GlobalLogic as the Group Vice President and Head of EMEA & APAC, IBM as the EMEA Leader, and Cognizant as the Head of Northern Europe. He began his career with Tata Consultancy Services as the Regional Manager in the US.

On the academic front, Kaushik holds an MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, and BSc in Physics from Presidency University.
