MMA Global, a global marketing company, has announced the appointment of Melis Ertem as the Chief Executive Officer for Türkiye, the Middle East, and Africa (MEA), with immediate effect.

In her new role, Melis brings over 28 years of leadership experience across the marketing, technology, and telecommunications sectors. She joined MMA Global in 2005 and has been serving in key roles, including the most recent position as Managing Director for the MEA region. She served as Global Chair and EMEA Chair Emeritus for the company between 2011 and 2014. She also worked with Turkcell at the beginning of her career.

On the academic front, Melis holds an MBA degree in Marketing from Paris Dauphine University, another MBA degree in Marketing from Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and a BA degree in Marketing from Galatasaray University. Her core skills include digital marketing, artificial intelligence, marketing strategy and communications, strategic partnerships, brand management, team leadership, and data analytics.
