The initiative comes as flydubai continues to expand its operations and strengthen its pipeline of national talent.

flydubai is set to recruit UAE nationals across aviation, operational and corporate functions as the Dubai-based airline hosts its UAE National Careers Open Day on August 16 at the flydubai Campus.

The event will give Emirati students and professionals an opportunity to explore career pathways at the airline, meet recruitment and talent development teams and learn about specialised training and development programmes.

Available opportunities include the Engineering Apprentice Programme (AMEL), Flight Dispatcher Programme, Pilot Training Programmes such as Ab Initio and Second Officer, and UAE National Graduate Programmes. Career opportunities are also available across operational and corporate functions.

The initiative comes as flydubai continues to expand its operations and strengthen its pipeline of national talent. The airline currently operates a fleet of 97 aircraft and has more than 300 aircraft on order, creating potential career opportunities across engineering, flight operations, airport operations, commercial, technology, finance, human resources and other business functions.

Nasser Binkherbash, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at flydubai, said: “At flydubai, investing in people is fundamental to our continued growth. Our UAE National Careers Open Day provides aspiring Emirati students and professionals with the opportunity to learn about the diverse career pathways available across the organisation, as well as the structured development programmes that prepare them for successful careers in aviation.

As we continue to grow our fleet and network, we remain committed to developing the next generation of UAE aviation professionals who will help shape the future of our airline.”

The careers open day reflects flydubai’s continued focus on developing Emirati talent and supporting the UAE’s national workforce objectives while building capabilities to support its future growth.
