Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has appointed Raymond Coderre as Director of Talent Management and Development, effective immediately.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Coderre posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Talent Management and Development at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology)!”
In his new role, Coderre brings over two decades of experience in talent development, learning, and people strategy. He will be leading “L&D, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, and Organizational Development across a diverse research campus and community comprised of faculty, researchers, professional and support staff,” he added.
He brings a wealth of experience in building talent architectures that enable transformation in complex, mission-driven environments.
Coderre joined KAUST in 2021 as the Head of Learning and Development, working with KAUST’s senior leadership team to foster and sustain a dynamic leadership culture, develop the next generation of Saudi talent and leaders, and fully leverage KAUST’s professional and technical expertise in support of KAUST’s new strategy and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Prior to this, he worked with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as Director of Learning and People Strategy and as a senior member of the HR leadership team. He also worked with Harvard University as the Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, holding over a decade of teaching experience.

On the academic front, Coderre holds a master’s degree from Harvard University and completed his bachelor’s degree from Green Mountain College.
