Aramex names Amadou Diallo as Group CEO

Currently, Nicolas Sibuet is serving as Acting Group CEO of Aramex and will hold the position until Diallo officially takes over.

Dubai-based logistics provider Aramex has appointed Amadou Diallo as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 May 2026.

In his new role, Diallo brings over three decades of logistics leadership experience. He most recently served DHL Global Forwarding as CEO for the Middle East & Africa, leading the company's regional operations for over seven years. 

Currently, Nicolas Sibuet is serving as Acting Group CEO of Aramex and will hold the position until Diallo officially takes over. “Nicolas has provided strong, steady leadership during a period of transformation and will remain focused on execution and delivery throughout the transition,” the company said in the announcement. 

Prior to this, Diallo worked with Saloodo! in Germany as CEO, DHL Freight as CEO, and as CFO of the logistics division. “His extensive operational expertise and strategic mindset are matched by a leadership style rooted in collaboration, performance, and innovation,” the company added.

On the academic front, Diallo holds an MBA in International Business from Schiller International University, a postgraduate program in Change and Leadership Development from The Wharton School, a master’s degree in IS and Process Management from the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
