Amman-based aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility Joramco, the engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), has appointed Adam Voss as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Voss succeeds Fraser Currie, who transitions into an elevated role as Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer at DAE Engineering.

With over 25 years of leadership experience, Voss most recently served as CEO of Dubai-based TIM Aerospace. He joined Joramco in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and has previously held leadership roles at South African Airways Technical (CEO), Jet Airways (Senior VP of Engineering & Maintenance), Qatar Airways (Senior VP of Base Maintenance, Workshops and GSE), and Fiji Airways (Executive General Manager Engineering). Earlier in his career, he also worked with Emirates and SR Technics in key roles.

Commenting on his appointment, Voss said, “I am honoured to be taking on this role at a time when Joramco has just added Hangar 7, which brings our MRO capacity up to 22 parallel lines. My focus will be on driving operational excellence.”
Currie, who has served Joramco for around eight years and previously held the position of Chief Commercial Officer, brings over three decades of industry leadership experience. He has worked with AdvisAvia, Texel Air, Randstad’s Qualtiair Aviation Group, FC International, and FR Aviation in senior roles.

On his new role, Currie stated, “I am delighted to be moving to DAE Engineering and to work closely with CEO Jeff Wilkinson on the continued success of Joramco and DAE Engineering.”
