JOSLOC appoints Eng. Fahad Al-Qahtani as Chief Executive Officer

As the new CEO, Al-Qahtani will focus on sustainable business growth, safety, reliability, compliance, customer satisfaction, and building a performance-driven culture that develops and empowers Saudi talent.
Aljomaih & Shell Lubricants Company, widely known as JOSLOC, has announced the appointment of Eng. Fahad Al-Qahtani as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2025.
Al-Qahtani brings more than 15 years of experience across management, industrial operations, capital project development, and business growth within the petrochemical, fuel, and aviation sectors. He previously led Modern Alliance Company (MCRA), where he oversaw aircraft refueling operations at King Fahd International Airport, and has held pivotal roles in used oil refining, SABIC, Sadara Chemicals, and Dow Chemical’s development program in Texas, USA.
Throughout his career, Al-Qahtani has spearheaded major initiatives to modernize jet fuel facilities, elevate operational reliability, strengthen risk management frameworks, and enhance supply chain resilience. He is also recognized for his efforts in empowering Saudi leadership, improving institutional governance systems, and boosting overall organizational performance.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Al-Qahtani said he is “proud to join JOSLOC and excited to work with the talented team to accelerate growth and deliver enduring value to partners and customers.”
He added that his leadership priorities will focus on sustainable business growth, safety, reliability, compliance, customer satisfaction, and building a performance-driven culture that develops and empowers Saudi talent. “Through strong leadership and operational excellence, I aim to position JOSLOC as a trusted, competitive, and future-focused player in the Kingdom’s lubricants and industrial sector,” he said.
Al-Qahtani’s engineering background includes contributions to the Saudi Kayan project, experience in preliminary engineering design and technical studies through Jacobs Reading UK, and advanced training in quality improvement, risk management, and operational efficiency during his tenure at Dow Chemical in Texas.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering from King Abdulaziz University and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Management and Entrepreneurship. He also holds multiple professional certifications in leadership, risk management, compliance, and project management.
