
King Salman Park Foundation appoints Thamir Almuarik as CHRO
King Salman Park Foundation, a Saudi Arabian government organization, has appointed Thamir Almuarik as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective from the start of May 2025.
Almuarik shared the news on LinkedIn recently, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at King Salman Park Foundation!”
In his new role, Almuarik brings over 18 years of HR leadership experience across key government and private sectors in Saudi Arabia. He most recently served at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development as Chairman of the Sectoral Skills Council – Health Sector.
Previously, he held leadership roles with the Saudi Health Council as Chairman of the Localization Committee for the Health Sector, the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia as Assistant Deputy Minister of Localization, and the Real Estate Development Fund as CHRO. He also served in senior roles at a confidential entity under the Al-Riyadh Governorate, the National Center for Privatization & PPP, Takamol Holding, GE, PwC Middle East, and Rotana Media Group.

On the academic front, he holds an MSc in Network Computing from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from King Saud University. He also holds key certifications in strategic planning, executive leadership, and HR transformation from prominent institutions.
