MoneyHash appoints Abdullah Khayat as Country Director & General Manager of KSA

With his extensive experience, Abdullah Khayat will lead MoneyHash’s efforts to expand its footprint and collaborate with leading payment gateways in Saudi Arabia

MoneyHash, an all-in-one flexible payment platform, has appointed Abdullah Khayat as Country Director & General Manager for Saudi Arabia, effective immediately. 

Khayat brings over a decade of experience in driving growth and digital transformation across financial services, fintech, retail, and government sectors. He will lead MoneyHash’s operations and strategy in the Kingdom, which is a key market in the company’s regional expansion.

“In his new role, Abdullah will focus on expanding relationships with enterprise clients, deepening partnerships across industries, and empowering businesses to adopt advanced payment orchestration technology and international payment capabilities,” the company said in the announcement. 

Khayat previously served Unifonic as the Head of Business Development and Markets, and prior to that, worked with ABB, Siemens, and Bupa Arabia, where he drove digital transformation and forged strategic partnerships across government and enterprise sectors. 

“His extensive experience positions him to lead MoneyHash’s efforts to expand its footprint and collaborate with leading payment gateways in Saudi Arabia,” the statement added.

On the academic front, Khayat holds a bachelor degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Waterford Institute of Technology, a bachelor degree in computer engineering from University of New Brunswick, and a diploma in executive management from Arizona State University.
