OSUS appoints Ahmed Al-Qahtani as Chief Executive Officer

Ahmed Al-Qahtani holds over two decades of leadership experience, having served at Hassana Investment, HSBC, NCB Capital, and others in leading roles.

OSUS Group, a leading real estate company in Saudi Arabia, has appointed Ahmed Al-Qahtani as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. 

Announcing the appointment, the company stated, “OSUS Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ahmed Al-Qahtani as the Group’s Chief Executive Officer. Throughout his career, Al-Qahtani has led major strategic transactions, complex partnerships, and M&A deals, while overseeing multi-asset portfolios spanning public and private equities, real estate, and infrastructure. 

His leadership has delivered long-term returns and sustainable value creation. He has also driven large-scale institutional transformation and restructuring initiatives in key sectors such as real estate, healthcare, education, and infrastructure.” 

Adding, “The appointment of Mr. Ahmed Al-Qahtani marks a strategic milestone in OSUS Group’s growth journey and further strengthens its position as a pioneering development group in Saudi Arabia.” 

In his new role, Al-Qahtani brings around two decades of leadership experience. He most recently served at Hassana Investment Company as Chief Investment Officer, holding senior roles there for over 11 years. Prior to this, he worked with HSBC, NCB Capital, and PwC in key positions. “In addition, he has served on the boards of several leading companies and institutions, contributing effectively to strategy development and governance enhancement,” the company added.

On the academic front, Al-Qahtani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and has passed CFA Level II from the CFA Institute.
