
Riyad Bank appoints Enji Ghazzawi as Chief Human Capital Officer
Riyad Bank has promoted Enji Ahmed Al-Ghazzawi to Chief Human Capital Officer role, effective March 2025.
Enji shared the news on LinkedIn, saying, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Capital Officer at Riyad Bank!”
Enji takes over responsibilities from Mazen Khalefah, who served in the role until stepping down in 2024 after four years of service. Mazen now serves at the Saudi National Bank as the Acting Group Head of Strategy & Innovation.
Enji joined Riyad Bank in 1998 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2022. She has played a key role in the bank’s qualitative achievements, further strengthening its market position both locally and internationally. Over the years, she has held several leadership positions, including Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations, EVP of Corporate Banking, Head of Corporate Banking, and Head of the Payments Section in the Operations Division.
Enji has also served as a Board Member at GOSI and SIMAH Credit Bureau. In 2017 and 2018, Forbes recognized her as one of the MENA region’s most influential and successful businesswomen. Additionally, she was part of the faculty at King Saud University.

On the academic front, Enji holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Translation from King Saud University and has completed executive programs at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, IMD, and INSEAD. She also earned a certificate in The Emerging COO: Driving Innovation and Operational Excellence from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
