SAP names Sundus Bushahri as Managing Director for Kuwait

In her new role, Sundus Bushahri brings over 15 years of expertise and will spearhead the regional team in driving the digitalisation and workforce training agenda across Kuwait.

SAP, a global software company, has announced the appointment of Eng Sundus Bushahri as Managing Director for the Kuwait region, effective from April 2024.

In her new role, Bushahri brings more than 15 years of experience. She joined the software company in 2022 as the Vice President of Business Development and Sales. Now, she will lead her team in the region's digitalisation and workforce training agenda, helping companies leverage the enormous potential of cloud computing and business Artificial Intelligence. She will report to Ahmed Al Faifi, Senior Vice President of SAP Middle East and Africa – North.

In her previous roles, Bushahri worked at Oracle as the Senior Territory Manager and at Schlumberger as the Regional Training Services Business Manager. She possesses strong team-building skills, strategic leadership, business development and planning, sales, project management, and consulting. On the academic front, she holds a BSc degree in Software Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Welcoming Bushahri to the leadership role, SVP Al Faifi said, “Kuwait is a highly significant growth market for SAP—one that is rapidly embracing digital transformation and working towards the creation of a sustainable workforce equipped with the skills needed for a thriving digital economy. Sundus Bushahri has a deep understanding of global operations and firsthand knowledge of Kuwaiti culture, making her the ideal person to lead SAP’s support of these national goals. With her technical expertise, extensive market knowledge, and natural leadership abilities, Sundus will lead her team in supporting the public and private sector adoption of new technologies, while also promoting the training and development of the Kuwaiti workforce.”

Bushahri added, “As a proud Kuwaiti, I am grateful for this opportunity to help support the country’s ambitious digital agenda. In addition to helping companies leverage emerging technologies such as Business AI, my team and I will also continue to support education initiatives to develop Kuwaitis’ diverse technology talents.”
