
Siemens Energy appoints Sarah Tabet as Head of HR for MEA region
Leading automation equipment manufacturer – Siemens Energy has appointed Sarah Tabet as the Head of Human Resources for the Middle East and Africa region, with effect from May 2025.
Announcing her new role, Sarah posted on LinkedIn, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of HR Middle East and Africa Hub at Siemens Energy!”
Sarah brings over 18 years of HR leadership experience across the manufacturing sector. She joined Siemens Energy in 2023 as the Head of HR for its Middle East Hub, focusing on creating a culture where people can thrive, feel empowered but also accountable.
Before joining Siemens, she worked with Schneider Electric for over seven years in key roles, including as the Global HR Director and D&I leader, and British American Tobacco (BAT) for around ten years as the HR Reward Analyst for the MENA region.
Sarah is an accomplished author and has written a very informative and practical guide for HR and people leaders - Inclusion Starts with U, which explores the true meaning of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
In her own words, she’s a “DEI advocate, author and enthusiast with ability to work with diverse teams and contribute to the global objectives to promote a culture of inclusion for all forms of diversities.”

On the academic front, Sarah holds a bachelor degree in Finance from Notre Dame University, and completed a course in Organisational Leadership and Innovation from INSEAD.
She also holds key certifications in executive coaching and leadership, Leadership Versatility Index, Performance Coaching/ Inclusive Leadership, and candidate assessments from leading institutions.
