WorkJam, a global digital frontline workplace, received a $20 million investment from Export Development Canada (EDC).
With this new investment, the platform aims to expand its global footprint, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Founded in 2014, WorkJam was designed to improve the lives of frontline workers by combining communication, task management, scheduling, and learning tools into one app. It aims to enhance efficiency and productivity, bridging language barriers with support for 50 languages. The platform introduces Total Workforce Orchestration (TWO) to revolutionise collaboration between headquarters and frontline staff.
Commenting on the development, Steven Kramer, CEO of WorkJam, shared, "With labour dynamics shifting across the globe, particularly in the UK and European markets, many companies in these regions are looking to equip their hourly employees with digital tools that ensure compliance while also driving productivity, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction. This new investment will enable us to continue our strong growth trajectory in the EMEA region, and we're extremely grateful for EDC's confidence and support as we fulfil our mission to empower frontline workers globally."
