Through this acquisition, Deel aims to simplify global work by combining performance management, AI analytics, and payroll as a one stop solution for workforce management.

Deel has announced the acquisition of Assemble, a compensation and insights company, as part of its strategic efforts to resolve compensation management challenges for the workforce globally.

This is the fifth acquisition of Deel this year, as the payroll and HR platform recently acquired Hofy, PaySpace, Zavvy, and Atlantic Money. Through this acquisition, the HR tech platform aims to simplify global work by combining performance management, AI analytics, and payroll as a one stop solution for workforce management.

The company underlined the key challenges saying, “Compensation management for global teams has long been a complex challenge, involving diverse market rates, compliance requirements, and growing expectations for fairness and transparency. It has become an increasingly important element of any talent attraction and retention strategy.”

The company also highlighted the key achievements of Assemble including an easy self-service platform that ensures structured compensation plans, pay and equity bands management, ATS integration, cap table tools, data-driven insights, and tailored dashboards. “By promoting transparency, the platform fosters trust, enhances satisfaction, and ensures everyone feels valued and well-informed,” the company added.

Therefore, with Assemble, Deel aims to bring a seamless flow for people management integrating with its talent management, payroll and HRIS products, creating a smooth workflow from performance cycles, to compensation planning to payroll. It also aims to include data-driven compensation with insights from anonymised market data, providing visibility into global pay trends. Additionally, the platform will provide AI-backed insights forecasting pay trends and optimising pay structures.

Alex Bouaziz, Deel co-founder and CEO said, “Together, Deel and Assemble eliminate the need for disconnected tools and spreadsheets, making workforce management simpler, smarter, and more seamless than ever before. We’re thrilled to partner with the passionate Co-founders of Assemble, who have dedicated over 4.5 years to building their vision, as we collaborate to rebuild their product within Deel and drive it forward with shared excitement and care.”

Lisa Wallace, co-founder and co-CEO added, “Fixing pay equity and driving transparency in compensation has been Assemble’s driving force since day one. Enrique and I, along with our team, are thrilled to join Deel to help accelerate that vision. As pay transparency continues to be a hot topic, we’re looking forward to building out how compensation strategy can partner with the rest of the HR suite to drive change for businesses and employees alike.”
