deel, the global HR and payroll company, announced the acquisition of Hofy, a global IT solutions and device lifecycle management company, on July 18, 2024.

The HRTech company recently acquired payroll tech platform - Payspace to lead business expansion across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions. The new acquisition will further bolster the company’s global market presence. Hofy, a London-based device supply and management company, aims to equip teams working remotely by delivering laptops, IT equipment, and other home working equipment seamlessly anywhere around the world. It currently serves more than 25,000 users and over 700 clients in over 127 countries. The platform also manages the entire lifecycle of these devices from ready-to-use device delivery to recovery and repairs.

With the acquisition, deel aims to resolve onboarding challenges for IT and HR professionals when hiring remote employees. He also added about rolling out an end-to-end global IT services platform - deel IT across 120+ countries. The platform will enable deel customers to deploy, collect, repair, and replace every device for every global worker right from inside the deel platform.
