Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence names George Nazi as new Chief Executive Officer

Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) has announced the appointment of George Nazi as Chief Executive Officer, with immediate effect from June 2024.
In his new role, George brings over three decades of leadership experience across software development (AI networks), telecommunications, media & entertainment, gaming, and technology sectors. He will be responsible for spearheading AI transformation and technological innovation across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Before his appointment, George worked with McKinsey & Company as a Senior Advisor. In his previous roles, he served Google as the Global VP & General Manager for Telecom, Media & Entertainment, and Gaming industry solutions, Accenture as the Senior MD for Global Communications & Media Industries, and Alcatel-Lucent as the EVP, President of Global Customer Delivery, and Chief Quality Officer. He also worked with British Telecom, Level 3 Communications (CenturyLink), WilTel Communications, and the University of Tulsa. He serves as an Advisory Board Member of SandboxAQ, chaired by Eric Schmidt, former Chairman of Google and Alphabet.
On the academic front, George holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Tulsa. His core competencies include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Building Trust, Strategic Thinking, Executive Relationships, Quantum Computing, C-Level Product Strategies, Team Building, Team Management, Management Control, Deep Learning, and Legal Affairs.
