Najla AlSaif steps down as Alat CHRO

Najla joined Alat in 2023, driving talent strategies, fostering a dynamic workplace culture, and spearheading HR initiatives to empower the HR team.

Najla AlSaif, who has been serving at Alat Technologies—a KSA-based PIF company—has announced her resignation from the role of Chief Human Resources Officer, effective January 2025.  

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Najla posted, “I would like to share that I have recently left my CHRO role at Alat. The experience was full of joy, achievements, and great new friendships that I will value forever. The ecosystem was very enabling and supportive, which reassures me that Alat will succeed.” She extended her best wishes to the company, adding, “I will continue to cheer for Alat as it fulfills its mandate of becoming a national industrial player. Thank you to all those who have supported and continue to support me.”  

Specifying her reasons for stepping down, Najla said, “I will be taking a short personal break to attend to some family matters and will keep you posted on my next journey.”

Najla is known for her thought leadership, advocacy for DEI, and dedication as a transformative leader. On her exit news, many leaders from the community extended their well wishes for her, recalling her leadership and contributions to the HR community.  

Mohammed Al-Qahtani, VP of Business Operations at Alat, commented, “Many thanks, Najla AlSaif, for all the great work you have done at Alat. It was a pleasure working with you. Wishing you all the best in life.”  

Kholud Alsaif reflected, “Your journey at Alat is nothing short of inspiring, filled with meaningful accomplishments and impactful connections. It’s clear you’ve left a remarkable legacy that will continue to shape the organisation for years to come. As you take this well-deserved break, I hope it brings you the rest, clarity, and joy you need to embrace your next chapter with renewed energy. I have no doubt that whatever path you choose, you will continue to inspire and lead with excellence. Wishing you all the best, Najla.”  

Abdulaziz Alamri said, “A leader like you is very rare. Your contributions have added immense value to all the organisations you have worked with, and your leadership has inspired many. Wishing you a well-deserved break and looking forward to your next chapter.”  

Mohammad Alotaibi added, “Dear Najla, leaving a senior position in a prestigious organisation like Alat is undoubtedly a difficult decision. However, I am confident that you made this choice for the right reasons and at the right time. I wish you all the best and trust that this period will be valuable for you and your family. It’s also a great opportunity to reflect on the incredible work and achievements of the past few years and to plan for an even brighter future. I’m certain you will soon step into another role where you’ll continue to make a meaningful difference for the country and contribute to the goals of Vision 2030. Wishing you continued success!”  

Hadeel Jastaniyah commented, “Such a brave and inspiring decision from my role model to prioritise what truly matters. Wishing you all the best during this well-deserved break, and I’m sure whatever comes next will be as amazing as you are!”  

Hussain Al-Nabi said, “A well-deserved break, Najla. You’ve been an inspiring leader and left a remarkable footprint in this ever-growing initiative. Wishing you the very best, and I’m sure we’ll cross paths soon!”  

Najla joined Alat in 2023, driving talent strategies, fostering a dynamic workplace culture, and spearheading HR initiatives to empower the HR team. She holds nearly two decades of experience across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and other leading sectors in Saudi Arabia. Her career journey includes key roles such as Consultant to the Vice Minister at the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Head of Organisational Development at AstraZeneca, and Director of Evaluation & Development of the Women's Work Program at the Human Resources Development Fund – KSA.  

Before joining Alat, Najla worked as CHRO at Tanmiah Food Group for over two years. She began her HR career with the Ministry of Investment (SAGIA) and held several key roles over her five years of service.

Alat has not yet named Najla’s successor.
