Turkey-based Ozak Global appoints Halil Karakaya as Group CHRO
Karakaya brings over two decades of HR and strategic leadership experience across leading sectors in the region.
Ozak Global, Turkey’s leading conglomerate, has appointed Halil Karakaya as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.
Karakaya shared the news on LinkedIn, posting, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Özak Global Holding!”
In his new role, Karakaya brings over two decades of HR and strategic leadership experience across leading sectors in the region. He will be leading all HR and administrative affairs processes while reshaping the group's people and culture transformation.
He most recently served Peli Global as the Global HR Director, overseeing the company’s entire HR processes, employee lifecycle management, organizational design, and workforce capability development.
Previously, he worked with Bonna Premium Porcelain as the HR Director and with Coca-Cola CCI as Group HR Project Manager across Iraq and Turkey.

On the academic front, Karakaya holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Mediterranean University, along with key certifications in leadership, workplace design, and skill development.
