In her new role, Bedour Al Dhamkhi brings over 11 years of HR leadership experience, encompassing employee relations, cultural transformation, and strategic HR.

HDFC in Kuwait has announced the appointment of Bedour Al Dhamkhi as the Head of Human Resources, with immediate effect.

In her new role, Bedour brings over a decade of industry experience and recently served at Knet, an e-banking services company in Kuwait. In previous roles, she worked with The Industrial Bank of Kuwait as the Senior HR Manager and with Gulf Bank as a Retail Banking Officer.

After completing her academic journey with a master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision, and a bachelor’s degree in English from Kuwait University, Bedour embarked on her career in HR leadership, where she honed core skills in performance management, employee relations, cultural transformation, and strategic HR.

In her leadership role at HSBC Kuwait, Bedour will drive the bank’s local and regional people policies to strengthen the employee value proposition for new talent and experienced employees.

Welcoming Bedour to the leadership team, Samer Al Abed, CEO of HSBC Kuwait, said, “Energising for growth is a strategic priority for the bank, which means that we aim to attract and retain the best talent for the bank. Bedour’s experience and important leadership role will contribute to driving our objectives of investing in the personal and career development of our employees and our commitment to nurturing local talent.”

Bedour added, “HSBC offers a unique employee value proposition that includes a focus on employee well-being through flexible working, international career opportunities, and a focus on future skills. I look forward to working with the leadership team and everyone in our business to support colleagues with career growth and make HSBC an employer of choice in Kuwait.”
