Both institutions will design practical pathways that bridge academia and industry, including access to training and employment programmes, participation in university events, and a series of lectures and workshops offering students hands-on exposure to real-world work environments. It will further support academic projects that enhance technical and leadership capabilities, along with joint initiatives in research and innovation.

Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, emphasized the company’s commitment to nurturing future talent. “Supporting and empowering young talent is a strategic priority for us. By working together with the University of Dubai, we aim to build practical bridges between education and the labour market, refine students’ skills, and connect them to transformative career opportunities in the trade, transport, and logistics sectors,” he said.

“This partnership will strengthen their ability to compete and contribute to the national development journey.” Echoing the same, Dr. Essa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai, said the collaboration reflects the strong alignment between the UAE’s business sector and higher education institutions.

“Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills demanded by the modern labour market,” he said. “Through this partnership, students will gain access to real-world professional experiences that prepare them for the future. It opens new possibilities for emerging talent and supports the nation’s ambition to build a knowledge-driven, sustainable economy.”

The MoU underscores the shared commitment of both parties to advancing the UAE’s education and research ecosystem.
