His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved 450 new jobs for Emirati citizens across various government entities in the emirate.
The newly approved positions span all university majors that align with the needs of Sharjah’s government departments.
Priority in hiring will be given to members of the Sharjah Job Seekers Training and Qualification Programme, with appointments expected to begin early next year.
The latest approval builds on the emirate’s sustained efforts to enhance job opportunities for its citizens, with 2,100 university graduates already hired since the start of the year.
This marks the latest in a series of initiatives by Sheikh Dr. Sultan to expand employment and strengthen national talent development.
In June 2025, H.H approved 400 new government jobs to be filled after Eid Al Adha, also prioritising trained university graduates.
