ADNOC Group appoints Dena AlMansoori as Group Chief Technology & Innovation Officer

AlMansoori brings over 20 years of experience spanning technology, HR, and AI. She most recently served as Group Chief AI & Data Officer and CHRO at e&.
ADNOC Group, a leading energy producer, has appointed Dena AlMansoori as Group Chief Technology & Innovation Officer.

AlMansoori, a globally-renowned business leader, brings over two decades of experience in technology, HR, and artificial intelligence leadership. She previously served e& as Group Chief AI & Data Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for nearly five years.
Before that, she held key roles with the Central Bank of the U.A.E. as CHRO; Toronto-Dominion Bank as Strategy & Operations Consultant; ICChange as Strategy & Information Systems Consultant; Target as Group Manager of Talent Acquisition; and Schlumberger in various HR leadership positions.
Sharing her new role on LinkedIn, AlMansoori wrote, “I’m so excited to announce that I have begun a new journey this week with ADNOC Group as the Group Chief Technology & Innovation Officer, leading the AI and Technology strategy across the organisation.”
She added, “By integrating AI, IoT, robotics, data, and advanced analytics, we aim to reimagine how energy is discovered, produced, and delivered, driving greater sustainability, efficiency, and safety across every part of the value chain. This is about more than operational excellence or cost efficiencies; it’s about demonstrating how technology and innovation can accelerate the transformation of global energy systems to create a smarter, cleaner, and more resilient future."

Almansoori succeeds Sophie Hildebrand, who recently stepped down as Chief Technology Officer of ADNOC Group after more than three years of service.

On the academic front, AlMansoori holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, a BSc in Finance and Information Management from Boston University, and has completed a program in AI and Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
She is also a key member of various global councils, including the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the World Economic Forum’s AI Governance Alliance, and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) Statistics and Data Science Advisory Board.
