Leadership changes at SISCO Holdings; Khaled Abdulghani Suleimani resigns

The company has appointed Saleh Ahmed Hefni as Managing Director, while outgoing CEO Khaled Suleimani will continue in an advisory role.

Sustained Infrastructure (SISCO) Holding has announced a key leadership change, with its Chief Executive Officer, Khaled Abdulghani Suleimani, stepping down from the role.

The company shared in an exchange filing, “...announces that its Board of Directors, by circulation on 09/01/1447H, corresponding to 04/07/2025, has approved the resignation of Eng. Khaled Abdulghani Suleimani from his position as Chief Executive Officer, effective 30 June 2025, due to personal reasons and based on mutual agreement between both parties.”

With his wealth of industry expertise and experience, Suleimani will now continue to serve as an advisor to the company, as approved by the Board of Directors.

The company’s board also extended its appreciation to him, adding, “Eng. Khaled Suleimani served as CEO during a period marked by the implementation of several critical development initiatives and institutional transformations. During his tenure, he contributed to advancing the company’s strategic direction, strengthening its organisational structure, and enhancing governance practices.”

Following this change, the company has also announced the appointment of Saleh Ahmed Hefni as the Managing Director and Executive Board Member of the company, effective July 1, 2025.

This is Hefni’s second stint with SISCO, as he previously served as the MD and CEO from 1999 to 2007, as the company noted in the appointment news.

Sharing a brief about Hefni’s leadership experience, the company stated, “Eng. Saleh Ahmed Hefni has been a member of the Board of Directors of SISCO Holding since 1998 and is currently serving on the Investment Committee during the current board term.

Eng. Saleh has an extensive professional track record spanning over 35 years in the fields of engineering, industry, and management, with specialized experience in corporate structuring and business development. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership positions.”

Other than SISCO, Hefni has previously served Halawani Bros as MD and CEO for over a decade, Omar Kassem Alesayi Group as CEO for over five years, and also served as a key member on the board of Tawzea, Kindasa Water Services Company, Saudi Trade and Export Development, and Logipoint.

On the academic front, he holds an M.Phil in HR Management from the University of Strathclyde, a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from the University of Silicon Valley, an executive program from London Business School, and a strategic leadership program from INSEAD.
