MedNet names Daniel Whitehead as CEO for MENA region
MedNet Group, a leading healthcare solutions company, has appointed Daniel Whitehead as Chief Executive Officer in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Daniel, who joined the company in November 2024, brings over three decades of leadership experience across healthcare, technology and the public sector in the Middle East region. Most recently, he served as Advisor to CEO at Center for National Health Insurance - KSA for a brief period. And prior to that, he worked as CEO at Aster DM Healthcare, Senior Vice President at National Health Insurance Company - Daman, CEO Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co., Regional Head for MENA at Booz Allen International, and Consultant at TCO Management Consulting company.
On the academic front, Daniel holds an MBA from IE Business School, an MA in International Business, and a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Delaware. He also has certifications in Health Economics from the World Bank, and Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Daniel will be based in Dubai at the regional headquarters to oversee operations across the Middle East region — the UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, Kurdistan-Iraq and Egypt. He will drive a regional team of over 700 employees to lead growth and expansion across these locations.
