
Saudi Printing and Packaging Company appoints new CEO; Francis Ferguson exits

Saudi Printing and Packaging Company has announced the resignation of its current Chief Executive Officer, Francis Ferguson, with immediate effect.
To take over CEO responsibilities after Francis, the company has appointed Abdennour El Mosour. He will step into the role on April 15, 2025 onwards.
Disclosing the CEO transition, the company said, “The Saudi Printing and Packaging Company announces the issuance of a decision by its Board of Directors to accept the resignation of the company's CEO, Mr. Francis Ferguson, on March 12, 2025, corresponding to Ramadan 12, 1446 AH, with his last working day being April 14, 2025, corresponding to Shawwal 16, 1446 AH. He will be appointed as an advisor to the Board of Directors, based on the recommendation of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee, from April 15, 2025, corresponding to Shawwal 17, 1446 AH, until December 31, 2025, corresponding to Rajab 11, 1447 AH.”
"...based on the recommendation of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee, the Board has also issued its decision to appoint Engineer Abdennour El Mosour as CEO of the Saudi Printing and Packaging Company, effective from April 15, 2025, corresponding to Shawwal 17, 1446 AH," it added.
The company also extended its best wishes to the outgoing CEO, stating, “The Board of Directors extends its thanks and appreciation to Mr. Francis Ferguson for his efforts during his tenure in the service of the company, wishing him continued success.”
Francis joined the company in 2018 as the Chief Financial Officer and was named CEO in 2023. He played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and expansion over the years. He has not disclosed the reason for his resignation, and the company cited “special circumstances” for his stepping down from the role.
On the other hand, Abdennour brings over three decades of experience in HR, operations leadership, and strategic development to his new role. In his previous positions, he worked as Senior HR Manager and Council Member at Greif Inc., Senior Human Resource Manager and Instructor at Beulah Heights University, Senior HR Manager at McLane Company, and HR Manager at Target.

Academically, Abdennour holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Human Resources from Northcentral University, an MBA in Business and Commerce from the University of Phoenix, and a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of South Carolina. He is also a Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management and holds a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute.
