
Visa appoints Nasser Bdeir as Country Manager for Oman
Global digital payments company – Visa has appointed of Nasser Bdeir as Country Manager for Oman, with effect May 25, 2025.
Bdeir works from Visa’s regional headquarters in Riyadh, overseeing operations including Oman and Bahrain. He succeeds Manish Gautam, who has been serving as the Country Manager for Oman since 2019. Manish is moving within the company to oversee Visa Commercial Solutions, the payment company’s strategically important business across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman.
Bdeir joined Visa in 2013, and has held key roles over the years including, as the Head of Innovation & Business Support for KSA, Oman and Bahrain, and Head of Financial Institutions -KSA, managing leading banks, driving growth and innovation for merchants and fintechs, and market development.
Before joining Visa, he worked with Banque Saudi Fransi for over five years. On the academic front, he holds key certifications including emerging leaders program from Columbia University, management and leadership certification from MIT Sloan, accounting and finance professional development program from Harvard University, and executive education from INSEAD.
