Jennison Associates, a US-based asset management company, has announced the appointment of Nick Samuels as the Managing Director and Client Portfolio Manager, and Stephen Corr as the Managing Director of Business Development for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, effective April 1, 2024.

In his new role, Nick brings over 25 years of industry experience. He will spearhead the company’s expansion strategy across the region under the direction of Raj Shant, MD and lead client portfolio manager for the EMEA region. In his previous roles, he worked with Redington in the capacity of the most recent Managing Director and SEI as a Senior Analyst. He also worked with Dart Capital, Momentum Global Investment Management, Stamford Associates Limited, and Schroders in key roles. On the academic front, Nick holds a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Essex and an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society.

On the other hand, Stephen joins the company with more than 25 years of industry leadership experience. Most recently, he served Baillie Gifford as the Director of Global Equity. Before that, he worked with Nikko Asset Management, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, and BlackRock in key roles. On the academic front, Stephen is a Certified CFA and holds a bachelor's degree in business studies from Dublin City University.

In his new role, Stephen will be strengthening key relationships with institutional investors across EMEA, reporting to Lori McEvoy, MD, and global head of distribution for the region.
