MATARAT Holding appoints Raed Al-Idrissi as CEO

MATARAT Holding, a leading airline and aviation services company, has announced the appointment of Raed Al-Idrissi as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 2024.
Announcing the news, Raed posted, “I am pleased to join MATARAT Holding as Chief Executive Officer and work alongside such distinguished team members. Together, we will strive to elevate MATARAT Holding as a prominent Saudi company and a national champion and regional leader.
Our aim is to meet both MATARAT Holding’s and the National Aviation Strategy’s objectives in the near future and transform Saudi airports into a global hub for passenger connectivity, both locally and internationally.

Raed brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience in Saudi Arabia's aviation industry to his new role. Most recently, he served as CEO of Saudi Ground Services for approximately five years. He currently serves as Excom Chairman of Saudi Amad for Airport Services & Transport Support (SAASTS) and Chairman of TLD Arabia Equipment Services. Previously, he held key positions at Aramco for over 18 years.
On the academic front, Raed holds an MBA in Marketing Management and an Executive MBA from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
