MBRF appoints Ron Young as Chief Knowledge and AI Advisor

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) announces the appointment of Ron Young as the Chief Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence Advisor, effective immediately.
Welcoming Ron to this leadership role, H.E. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, stated: “The UAE Cabinet, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, adopted the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031. The MBRF contributes to this strategy through its mission to bring the best possible methods for creating, transferring, and applying knowledge to individuals, teams, organisations, and knowledge-based societies around the world. We have been working with Ron Young since 2016, and we are delighted to now collaborate on creating integrated knowledge and AI-driven management systems. This will help organisations identify and develop critical knowledge assets, both human and digital, which can be enhanced through effective knowledge management and artificial intelligence.”
Ron Young added: "The MBRF is a global pioneer in knowledge, and His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb has the vision to enhance human knowledge and AI to empower organisations for today and future generations. It is a great honour and delight to be part of this MBRF knowledge transformation programme."
Ron is the founder, CEO, and Chief Knowledge Officer of Knowledge Associates International. In his new role, he integrates several ISO standards, certifications, and the experiences he has gained over the years, including the recently announced ISO 42001 Artificial Intelligence standard, into a unified management system for MBRF, which aims to empower future generations by enabling them to devise sustainable solutions that facilitate knowledge and research development in the Arab world and beyond. He will also advise and assist knowledge-based organisations in their knowledge transformation journeys. In his previous roles, Ron served as the CEO of TMI Technology, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of the 'TMI Key Results' software for individuals, teams, and entire organisations, and as CEO of Systematics International.

Ron’s academic excellence encompasses an MSc in Knowledge-Based Systems and AI Expert Systems from the University of Essex, a postgraduate in Knowledge Asset Management from Anglia Ruskin University, and a BA (Hons.) in Business Studies from Middlesex University.
