Bin-Shihon Group names Mohammed Al Amawi as CHRO
Bin-Shihon Group, a leading international trade and development company, has promoted Mohammed Al Amawi to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Amawi wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bin-Shihon Group!”
Amawi, who joined the group last year as Group HR Director, brings over 17 years of HR leadership experience to his new role. Prior to joining BSG, he served as Head of Human Resources at OZCO Group Companies, where he was responsible for aligning the group’s HR strategy and people objectives with its business goals.
In his previous experiences, Amawi held the position of HR Manager at Savola Group, where he strengthened the company’s Saudization efforts through effective recruitment, training, compensation, and employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, he was instrumental in recruiting top talent for key roles within the organization. Earlier in his career, Amawi worked with Maersk Line as Assistant Manager of Process Excellence.

On the academic front, Amawi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Jamiat Al-Malik Abdulaziz. With core competencies in strategic HR, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR transformation, policies and procedures, and labor laws, he is well-positioned to drive BSG’s HR and people strategy to new heights.
