NetApp appoints Suhail Hasanain as Regional Director - MEA

NetApp, an intelligent data infrastructure company, has appointed Suhail Hasanain as the new Regional Director for the Middle East and Africa region, effective immediately.
In his new role, Suhail brings over two decades of leadership experience. He will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strategic collaborations, continuously developing the ecosystem, and delivering exceptional results across all sectors in the region. Most recently, he worked with Dell Technologies as the Public Sector Director for Saudi Arabia, a role he held for nearly five years. Prior to that, he served at Cisco for over 13 years in key positions, including Country Business Strategy and Operations Manager, and Country Public Sector Regional Manager. Suhail began his career with Siemens Healthineers in Saudi Arabia.
On the academic front, Suhail holds a BSc in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. With core competencies in strategic planning, operational excellence, and leadership, he is poised to lead NetApp's cross-functional teams for growth and expansion across the Middle East and Africa region.

Suhail’s appointment is part of NetApp’s global growth and expansion efforts. Recently, the company also appointed Pamela Hennard as Chief Diversity Officer to build a more inclusive workplace, and Alessandra Yockelson as Chief Human Resources Officer to reshape all aspects of people and organisational strategy, including talent development, performance management, team engagement, recruiting, DEIB, and compensation and benefits.
